Questions?
Do I need to know how to code?
No. If you can ask an AI for a web page and click a button, you can use pushd. The whole point is that you never touch a terminal, git, or get lost in config.
Where do my sites actually live?
On real hosting you control - Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, Tiiny.host, or your own cPanel web hosting. pushd is the deploy button, not the host: if you ever uninstall it, your sites stay up.
Is it safe to give pushd my hosting tokens?
Your tokens are stored only in your browser's local extension storage and sent only to the provider they belong to, over HTTPS. pushd has no servers, no analytics, and no way to see them.
What's actually free?
Unlimited deploys, one connected provider of your choice, ZIP downloads, deployment history, SEO customization, QR codes and sharing links. Pro adds password protection, rollbacks, connecting every provider, push branding removal, and upcoming Pro features.
Can I update a site after deploying?
Yes - push again with the same site name and the same URL updates in place. Use a new name and you get a brand-new site. You can also redeploy any earlier version from history.
Which AI tools does it work with?
We currently support Claude.ai and ChatGPT web chats. You'll know it's working if you see a ↑ Push button. Pages from Gemini, Grok or anywhere else work via copy-paste or file drop - and one-click buttons for those are on the roadmap.
